Halloween is expected to be dark and creepy and so that’s just what AVX Lab did. Shanie Jalbert-Bossé, created two identical 6’x8′ boxed frames and 3 layers of scrim. Between the scrim and a selective lighting design, thanks to Guillaume Roberts-Cambron, we were able to make objects and people disappear & reappear. The layered projections, by VJ BunBun, also alluded an almost holographic effect and were composed to match the Butoh-inspired performance performed by Soleil Launiere & Jolène Boily Béliveau.
